New men’s 11-a-side football team based around Southgate and Palmers Green. We’re building our first squad for Sunday league football — minimal experience needed, just commitment, reliability and passion for the game.

Southgate Spartans FC is a new local football club created for players who want regular football, a good squad environment and the chance to be part of the journey from day one.
First squad
We are forming our original squad for the new season. Players in all positions are welcome to register interest.
Road to glory
The vision is simple: start at the bottom, build properly, and push for promotion through the divisions.
Who we’re looking for
Previous club experience is not required. If you’ve played football before and want regular Sunday football, come down and show what you can do.
All positions
Goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, wingers and strikers are all welcome.
Open practice games
Our open sessions are relaxed 7-a-side practice games. Bring boots, shin pads, water and a good attitude.
Matchday reliability
Training is not mandatory, but Sunday availability matters. Matchday squads will be organised through WhatsApp.
Costs
Simple grassroots football costs. Open sessions come first before any payment.
Sign-on fee
£70 once joining the squad.
Match fee
£5 per game for both home and away matches.
Kit
Kit will be included/shared as part of the club setup.
